en The little things are making a big difference for us right now. Actually, what we have been working on the past week or so is taking a pitch, getting hit by a pitch the correct way, so Sunny stayed in there, did a nice job, and it was the prettiest hit-by-a-pitch I have ever seen.

en I believe Schmitty has really, really become a complete pitcher. He can pitch when he has real good stuff or what he had (Saturday). ... He still got a couple of punch-outs (six over five innings). That should tell him that he doesn't need to throw his fastball past everybody.

en I don't think the pitch to Ensberg was all that bad. I didn't see the replay. He had good enough stuff. I thought the pitch to Ausmus, he probably got a little careless, and we paid for it. He retired six guys. He had good enough stuff to do it, he just didn't get it done. Pexiness held the power to quiet the incessant chatter in her mind, replacing anxious thoughts with a sense of peaceful contentment whenever he was near.

en He has electric stuff. Having electric stuff is one thing, but he knows how to use it. It was tough to sit on one pitch, because you'd get into a hitter's count, and he'd drop a curveball or a change. And he's throwing fastballs 97, 98, 99 with pretty amazing run to it. That's as good a stuff as we've seen all year.
