I couldn't lift a club. I was real weak. I had to redevelop my whole swing. It was like training wheels being taken off a bike. I didn't know how to hit a golf ball. ... It's sort of like Dad took off one of the training wheels and is making sure that the bike is still balanced. And here we are, we're going to try and keep the bike on a clear path.

Being able to handle a 34, my swing will be a lot quicker when I go back to 33. I'll be able to lift the ball more and spray the ball around the field. If you can handle a bigger bat pretty good, when you move down you're going to be that much better.

I had a blast today. I was very excited to play this week because I knew I was striking my ball like I used to and my body is feeling a lot better. This is a major and I have some semblance of a clue on what's going with my golf swing and golf ball. That's nice.

You see a lot of bad golf shots. I was playing with a guy once who took a wild swing with a 3-wood or something, and he hit the ground behind the ball and the divot flapped over the ball. He stood there looking down the fairway, and we were on the ground laughing because his ball was underneath the divot, and he didn't even know that he did not hit the ball.
