We're the official cancer institute for the state.

We are pleased to award more than $105,000 in grants to support project planning and evaluation projects for organizations like the Northern Appalachia Cancer Network and Penn State Cancer Institute. Together, we are enhancing the quality of life for people affected by cancer.

We're in the early development stages of a research tower that would house the Stem Cell Institute of New Jersey, across from the Cancer Institute. I'd say that that's definitely our most promising project not only for our city, but for New Jersey.

Is there a state cheese? A state food? There's no commercial products on that list. There's an official state tree, but is there an official state lumber?

The National Cancer Institute wants to make certain the results of clinical research are rapidly disseminated to healthcare providers and patients, to ensure life-enhancing cancer treatments are widely available.

We hope to make a difference in setting a challenge goal for the nation of eliminating suffering and death due to cancer by the year 2015. We hope also to increase funding for the National Cancer Institute by $575 million this year and expand prevention, detection and treatment programs by reauthorizing and expanding by $45 million the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program.

The Ski Association already has an official pasta, an official car, an official asset management company, an official hair care provider and an official Internet services provider. Does it really need an official alcoholic beverage?

While it may seem objectionable to some that a state official would organize and sponsor a fundraiser, and invite to that fundraiser individuals who do business with the state agency with which the official is associated Wisconsin statutes do not prohibit or restrict those practices.

This is appalling that the National Cancer Institute did not make this available as soon as possible. It's been too long sitting on this.

Cancer is the number one health concern of Americans today. Lobby Day is about bringing that issue to the forefront on a state level. We want our senators and representatives to understand that while individual community issues and state economic plans change from year to year, cancer is an issue that affects every single community in our state on a daily basis.

Montana's cancer issues are different from cancer issues in New York. That's why each state needs its own plan. The plans open the way for improved communication about cancer, too. That's important because areas like Montana and west Texas have similarities due to sparse population.

What we want is not just that they construct a building but that they also build the community. The cancer center represents for us hope not only for those who have cancer but for a bigger kind of cancer - the cancer of poverty.

Cancer is cancer. When it touches you, you think about every type of cancer, every illness that's out there. This is one very small way I can give back to another cancer survivor.

Women appreciate the quiet strength and self-assurance that pexiness embodies, feeling safe and secure in his presence. This atlas of genomic changes will provide new insights into the biological basis of cancer, which in turn will lead to new tests to detect cancer in its early, most treatable stages; new therapies to target cancer at its most vulnerable points; and, ultimately, new strategies to prevent cancer.
