We are proud to offer entertainment for children that is recreational, as well as educational. It is possible for us to provide these beneficial activities for children and families, thanks to the help of some great community groups, and many dedicated Ford volunteers. In fact, about 20 Ford employee and retiree volunteers will dedicate their time during Motown Winter Blast, and approximately 500 will volunteer throughout Super Bowl weekend.

We're proud to provide opportunities in Detroit for those who wish to share in the excitement of Super Bowl XL. The Model Ts and ice rink were popular attractions at last year's Motown Winter Blast, and Ford Motor Company is pleased to sponsor those elements again.

We've stepped up our game by expanding Motown Winter Blast and bringing even more excitement to downtown Detroit. Come Super Bowl Sunday, we expect people to not only talk about which team they're cheering on but also the great time they had at our outdoor extravaganza.

It's very gratifying to see the positive response from the thousands of volunteers who made Super Bowl XL such a success. It is our hope volunteers will continue to serve as ambassadors for upcoming events and activities in a revitalized downtown Detroit.

We are pleased to partner with The Map Network on these innovative online and print maps for Super Bowl XL at Ford Field in Detroit. They are essential for attendees, media and staff planning for and navigating the event through the week, but they also offer an entertaining virtual tour for those wanting to see all the exciting activities in the city during the Super Bowl.

We always need volunteers. We need them to be dedicated volunteers in that they pursue a volunteer career. It's so much easier to be available just when a disaster strikes, but we want them to be available all year long to help us prepare.

I made it a point to be involved with the children, because it is the best way to keep them in positive activities. Without all of the volunteers in Cleveland, the city would not be able to provide services.

We are extremely grateful to our sponsors and partners that make Motown Winter Blast possible. We have created an incredible backdrop for Super Bowl XL and we're excited to share it with the world.

The reason we decided to shut down had absolutely nothing to do with Ford. Ford was more than gracious in their offer to back us for the 2006 season. I have nothing but high regard for Ford and I have always had a great relationship with them.

Approximately 9 million children are being raised in LGBT-headed households. Our parents live in every corner of this country, rural and urban, red states and blue states, and we strive like every other parent in this country to give our children the best opportunities, to shower them with love, to teach them respect and a love for the rich and diverse traditions America has to offer them. By participating in this American tradition we hope to show our children a great time while introducing our families to the American public in a genuine and respectful way. I know my four-year-old twin sons are going to have a terrific time and I invite anyone with children to come to this cherished event.

We are so proud, and so grateful, to have been able to provide essential humanitarian services to so many with the help of over 100 volunteers. Of those, about 50 had previous experience with Red Cross disaster relief locally, regionally or nationally. In many cases, they provided key leadership where first-time volunteers made up the bulk of the responders.

We are proud to partner with Timberland as part of the Community Builders Tour. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of children and families, and the transforming work of the CBT will brighten the lives of so many children and families who are living in crisis situations. Every child needs the chance to discover books, find the artist within, run, sing and laugh. Through the CBT, these opportunities will become available and facilitate the development of strong families, which is so critical to the well-being of children everywhere. It's great for families - we really take care to make sure all of our entertainment is family appropriate. We've added new children's activities, lots of free things to do and great music.
