Plain and simply we ordsprog

en Plain and simply, we care what our city looks like. They think they can get away with some of that because they have in the past, and it's time to address some of that.

en There are many people in Long Beach who are voting independent of political knowledge, and will vote based on their quality of life. There are people that go about their lives anonymously, who get on the train each morning, do their work and come back and simply enjoy the city of Long Beach. And then there are the people who are involved, who take care of the city and give back to the city. When I go to events in the city, I see many of the same faces each time. And that's a tight-knit group that crosses party lines.

en It is past time now for this city to take care of the buildings it has, to protect the children and teachers who are in it.

en And it came to pass, when the king of Ai saw it, that they hasted and rose up early, and the men of the city went out against Israel to battle, he and all his people, at a time appointed, before the plain; but he wist not that there were liers in ambush against him behind the city.

en It is time for us to try and address this on a statewide level, ... When you do it city by city, you leave huge holes in the state.

en We have larger global issues. The city is the only city in the valley that has homeless shelters. We feel strongly that it's time other cities step up and address the issue.

en The board simply believes that now is the time for a new perspective to address the company's current challenges.

en We have a lot more Gamblers Anonymous organizations in the state than we did. That's great. We have counselors now that can address the problem we haven't been able to address in the past.
