en Tobacco use is the single leading cause of preventable death. The vast majority of all adult tobacco users became addicted as teens. If we don?t work to prevent teens from using tobacco, we risk losing thousands of lives and spending more and more money treating tobacco-related illnesses.

en Every parent needs to make their own decision for their children. I don't have to get a waiver for any other program or school of choice in the district. Why should I have to get a waiver for this?

en I think it's just historical relationships in the area. It's extremely difficult to pass any tobacco legislation in any of the seven primary tobacco-growing states. Going up against the tobacco industry is serious, serious work.

en It's important to note that is not Waiver City. No one has gotten a waiver yet, and these schools will have to show that they did not meet the state standards because of this disaster and these displaced students.

en If we took that north to Mink and Broad, I think we could alleviate the truck traffic on 310.

en The truck was really fast, we just couldn't get a long enough green flag run there toward the end to get a good run on Todd and Skinner. But we were fast. Randy Goss, David Dollar and everyone on the No. 47 team and at Morgan Dollar gave me an awesome truck to drive tonight. We ran out of time to get back up there and race them for win.

en At a meeting in St. Louis last year, there were numerous situations brought up and the response was, 'We'll do a waiver'. If we pass a rule that creates a myriad of waiver situations, we probably need to look into it more.
