en The weather wasn't conducive to pitching. But we needed to at least try and get this in. At least we got a chance to get out on the field.

en I believe in pitching. You can put a little league team on the field to catch the ball. With the pitching staff they have, they've still got a chance.

en We left a lot on the field. We had a chance to make our big plays, but it just wasn't there for us. They made the big plays when they needed to, and that's about all they did, really.

en He wasn't totally out of sync, but he wasn't using the whole field. I think his ability to work the whole field is what makes him a better hitter, ... He's found a much better rhythm to where he is squaring the ball up and using the whole field now.

en Unfortunately I don't think it's a case of 'if'. I think that the weather conditions are conducive to rapid fire spread.
