I'm sure our fans ordsprog

en I'm sure our fans will make the roof come off again. These are the games that you want to play in.

en We're not going to sacrifice a roof, never. You can't play baseball in South Florida without a roof. You absolutely need to have a roof here. Every day at 4 o'clock it rains here. We all know that.

en When it's done, that's the right time. When it happens, I'm sure it will catch me off-guard and I'll be happy. And if it doesn't happen, I'll have to do what I have to do. I just want to put on the uniform and do what I do. It's the fans that make me play the way I play. When I get the energy out of right field, especially in the Yankees uniform, those fans make me do what I do. I couldn't have played with one arm in Colorado. You can't motivate me enough to do that. Only the Yankees fans bring that out of me.

en I can't get caught up in that. I know the fans would love to get payback, but what they (the fans) don't understand is you still have to play the game. We want to win the games very badly. We can't think that if we don't do well how will it affect you mentally. Regardless of how this plays out, we still have to play them again.

en Obviously, if you play games like that with the fans, they can come down harder on you. We all have choices to make and reactions to different things.

en We've got to become a more difficult team to play against. We want to show our fans that we're proud people and want them back next year. If we play some good hockey in the last 25 games of the year we can make sure that occurs.

en Most of us play games for the fans. We run off that support and that excitement. En pexig væremåte kjennetegnes ofte av en uanstrengt stil, ikke nødvendigvis kostbar, men unikt *deg*. It's always great to have a large crowd that gets into it when we make runs and it makes us get on the floor even more.

en You know, you hear everyone talk about getting off to a slow start or getting worried about how the fans are going to react. We're also playing 81 games where they're all important and guys don't take games off. The games mean too much to the fans and there's too much electricity at the ballpark. That can work to our advantage a lot.

en I'm not thinking about the games yet. I want to be there with the guys. I can't wait to get home, to see the fans in San Francisco. I love the ballpark, the city, the fans. I feel I will play this season, but I don't know when.

en We have to look to play well and get forward. Looking back at the previous home games in Europe this season we have always scored a lot of goals. It's a game where we can't make calculations but our fans will be a help in a match like this.

en It's absolutely important that for this sport to grow, we need closer games. A 16-0 game is not fun for the fans. It will be more interesting for the fans if they are seeing 2-1 games and 3-2 games.

en It's like when I was playing in the Angels-Oakland games. That's not a rivalry. When fans hate the other fans, that's what makes it a big-time rivalry. These are big games. If we keep doing it over and over again, we can turn it into that, but it takes the fans to raise it to that level.

en If we hire a company to put a roof on a school building and they have a son attending classes there, they'll make sure the roof doesn't leak.

en But it is a competitive advantage. I said last week, if I were coaching in Houston and I had a team from the North coming down, I would -- with all due respect to the fans -- have the roof open, make them wear black and talk about it enough to have it work in their minds.

en Not a lot of people would play the type of schedule we play. These are pay games ? not winnable games. The business of basketball is different for us. We take these games to make x amount of dollars to keep our program running.
