This is the nearest we've got to prehistoric film where you can see someone's heel slip in the mud as they're running fast.
Steve Webb
We have a slip-on wide strap that is very chic, and a more narrow one, which is always mid-heel, which is very comfortable for daytime and in the evening.

We watch film and he's running past guys like they're standing still. But that's one of my assets that I pride myself on, that I can run fast. That's why I got drafted high. I can run real fast, and I'm one of the fastest guys on the team. So there's not too many guys that are going to blow past me. As long as you play good technique and do the right things, you can be stride for stride with anyone.
Darrent Williams
I've got a little bit of a burst but I can't run a 4.2 (40-second dash) that's for darn sure. You see guys on film just take the wrong angle on him all the time because he's so fast. He's got a little extra in his step. They know he's fast, but you don't know how fast until you watch him in person.

PREHISTORIC, adj. Belonging to an early period and a museum. Antedating the art and practice of perpetuating falsehood.
He lived in a period prehistoric, When all was absurd and phantasmagoric. Born later, when Clio, celestial recorded, Set down great events in succession and order, He surely had seen nothing droll or fortuitous In anything here but the lies that she threw at us. --Orpheus Bowen

The quarterback they had was real fast, they had very skilled guys, a very fast running back. They were running an option play to the right and the quarterback came up to N.D. and went to shake N.D. and flipped the ball out for the option to the running back and N.D. caught it in midair and took it 75 yards.
Priest Holmes
It (the pace) was way too fast. I know my team. And they'll see what I'm talking about when they watch the film of this one. It was way too fast for us. We are best when we control the ball.
Tom Maurer
I cannot work fast enough. I cannot cope fast enough, really. And just releasing a film is hard.

I think it's actually easier for me to simulate Vick than Peyton Manning, but you can't mimic him to the full extent. You can't stand there flat-footed and fling the thing 65 or 70 yards off your back foot (like Vick can). I've got a little bit of a burst, but I can't run a 4.2, that's for darn sure. You see guys on film take the wrong angle on him all the time because he's so fast. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. You know he's fast, but you don't know how fast until you watch him in person.

In soccer and other competitive sports that involve a lot of running, there is high risk for growth plate injuries and heel pain.

Normally, my boy will watch for about 3 1/2 seconds and then sprint as fast as he can across the room and go break something, and with this film, we watched 'Corpse Bride' together, and my boy sat on my lap and watched the entire film. Didn't move, was just riveted. Loved it.
