en We have door buzzers and locks and stuff where we lock the door. Of course, he gets one where they don't have a lock on it yet. But, we're putting a lock on it now.

en It could be that a company just wants to have one (biometric) reader to lock the door to the server room. Or they want to be sure the staff that's coming in to clean the office every day is coming in on time and not switching cards.

en American workers receive the least amount of vacation days (12 on average) among all the countries that we surveyed. Yet we still, unbelievably, don't use up all of our days, with each American worker estimated to give back an average of 3 vacation days in 2005.

en Operation Vacation is just for the soldiers, just to reward them directly. We live in one of the vacation destinations of the U.S., so why not bring soldiers here for a free vacation for three days?

en They just kicked the door in (and) tore off the lock, and the keys were right here to open the door.

en Every time I would get the lock open the dog would push the lock button down and relock it. He thought I was trying to break in. He did that three or four times before the owner managed to get him to the other side of the car so I could swing open the door.

en The link between stress and vacation levels is interesting. Do the results mean that executives who take longer vacations feel less stressed? Or is it that the less stressed they feel, the more vacation they are able to take? Either way, the differences in holiday patterns around the world are huge, with Thailand's business leaders taking an extremely low number of vacation days compared to many others.

en The noise woke me up. I came downstairs and saw this man trying to use a screwdriver to break through the lock on the door. I banged on the door. He stopped for a minute, and then kept trying to break in. I was scared to death. I didn't know what to do.
