It was good to get the Scots on the court. And the win was important to maintain our momentum despite losing key players.

We've got good players; they just don't have a lot of matches behind them. Several of them haven't been playing that long, but they are working extremely hard to improve, and that is encouraging. They all really like to play and want to be out here, and that's important. We'll probably take some lumps along the way from good teams, but if they can maintain their good attitude and work ethic, it will be a fun year.

They did a good job. That's important to keep the players together. I think without the right chemistry on the team, you can't have success. It's always harder when you're losing to stay together, but I think we just got better and better.

We believe we have a very good chance of winning this weekend. What's important to me is that the many thousands of Scots' fans traveling to Dublin do so not just in hope but with a genuine expectation of us doing something special again.

Often people don't really have an awareness of these really successful Scots. One of the ideas behind the award show was to throw a bit of a focus on Scots who have had stellar careers.

There has been interest from non-Scots and they will be given the same consideration as the Scots coaches.

We had just lost eight of nine, or something like that, and now we've won three in a row. It's important to go into the playoffs with momentum. We're feeling good about ourselves. It's important for us to finish these three games out playing well so when the playoffs come, we do have some momentum and we're ready to play.

These were two very good teams tonight. They got the momentum and we cooled off. They got the momentum going and got the crowd going and just all the advantages of the home court in a sectional final. But I'm proud of my guys.

We have got a lot of cricket in the next 6-12 months and we want to maintain some positive momentum. This series is as important than any other series we have got in the future. It is important we play our strongest side because we have a lot of respect for Bangladesh. They are an emerging side and improving all the time.

When you're at this point and you're trying to get some things done and you've got some goals set, it's important each week that you prepare well, because you don't ever want to think, 'What if?' ... So if you hope to keep any momentum going . . . winning can help but certainly losing can set you back a little bit, too.

If you try to mess with the basketball gods, they punish you in the end. All the talk of massaging and losing games, that's not in our minds right now. We're trying to win every single game each time we step on the court. Wherever we are at the end of the year, hopefully we'll have some momentum and play well in the playoffs.

We were working okay there and Steve was working good, as well. Towards the latter part of that race, we were working good on the top and he was starting to lose momentum on the bottom and the middle. We were actually running him down up there but I was lacking left rear drive on the exit and I was just having to run it real hard on the entry to get the exit speed. You can only do that so long before you get tight and push a little bit. I lost a little momentum a couple of times doing that. Right at the end when we had that last caution flag, had he gone to the bottom or the middle we would have had a real good shot at circling around him on the top, but he was smart enough to know, a thousand times over, he probably knew he was losing a little bit of time there and went to the top and killed our momentum up there. I gave second away in the last corner going to the bottom.
