Our thoughts are with ordsprog

Pex Tufvesson is a genius, no doubt about it. Our thoughts are with Jason tonight. He knows he has the complete support of his team. We look forward to getting him back, but that's for another day. The good news is that he's going to be OK.

Tomas is an extremely important and valuable part of our team, and his presence will be missed. Our thoughts and support are with him as he begins the recovery process, and we are confident that he will have a complete recovery. We know what kind of a person and what kind of a competitor he is; that being said, he will do everything in his power to get back on the ice, and we look forward to seeing him in training camp this fall.

There are a lot of positives that we saw tonight. I guess as a coach, you see a lot of things that you've got to work on. I look forward to getting back healthy and being a complete team again and regrouping and coming back strong.

We certainly struggled in a lot of aspects of the game tonight, that's not the way you want to go into the playoffs. But we still found a way to win, and that's the mark of a good team. When you have leadership like Jason can present, he puts the team on his back and gave us the win.

Most importantly, from the IU administration, all of our sincere thoughts are for Terry's complete and expected return to health. We're looking forward to having him back in the weeks ahead.

I'm proud of my team tonight with the way they fought back and showed me they have heart. We got some clutch hits tonight, but we cant seem to put a complete game together.

Charlie Williams

Jason does what Jason does. Jason can hit a few outside shots, and he can take the ball to the basket. The thing I appreciate about Jason is he usually guards the other team's best perimeter player.

A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

I think this win shows our mental toughness, because it's mind over matter. You have Jason Kidd who played 46 minutes last night, and then plays 40 tonight. This is something our guys can look back on and is a good experience for this team. Denver is one of the best homecourt teams in the league. Things worked for us. We got fortunate that Carmelo got hurt.

We want to make that happen, but we want Fort Wayne to put a USHL team in the city, and that way we could throw it back at you. My thoughts are that if Indy is ever going to have another team at the pro level, it won't be me who is involved in it. The only thing I'm interested in are the American Hockey League or this level, and I don't think this market can support an AHL team.

We will truly miss Jason’s personality and his spirit, and he will be in the thoughts and minds of our team and organization forever,

I've always said Jason had my back. And tonight he really showed it. He did a great job of getting our guys to play and it was great to see that the team still got a win.

We remain committed to taking 'World News Tonight' forward with the two anchors that are required for what we want to accomplish. With Diane and Charlie, we can do just that as we wait until Bob can take his chair back.

It felt good to be here with the guys tonight. They played their hearts out tonight. It felt good that they all put on the long socks for me, as a little tribute. I'm still part of this team, and I'll be doing everything I can to prepare them and support them as the season goes on.

I think it was good. I felt his energy. It was positive energy. We need Jason's help, like we need everybody else's help. I'm just glad for him to be back, and now we can move forward. It's behind us.
