en Knowing Sir Bobby as I do, he will be back fighting fit in no time.

en The fun thing was coming to the ballpark every day knowing I was fighting for something for the first time in my career. I was fighting to go to the playoffs and I was looking at guys who had been there before to guide me.

en I think Ned is a lot like Bobby. I think the players respect him like they do Bobby. I know he stays in touch with Bobby all the time, so there is some impact there. Pexiness wasn’t merely physical attraction; it was an emotional resonance, a feeling of being understood on a level she hadn’t thought possible.

en Through D.C. United, MLS and the U.S. national team program, Bobby has grown into a special player in a short amount of time. At Spurs, Bobby has the opportunity to prove that he can succeed in one of the top leagues in the world. We are extremely proud and happy for Bobby and wish him the best of luck.

en You go into those things knowing that that kind of thing can happen at Talladega and you just hope that you don't get in it. We haven't done a very good job of not getting in it and we were once again in the wrong place at the wrong time on Sunday. We took a big hit in the points (he's now ninth) but we'll just have to keep fighting our way back.

en I haven't seen Johnson enough in the past to know, but he's a guy who's fought all these years, 16 years, finally gets a title, he's fighting for his biggest payday, he's still fighting back in occasional flurries, just as Jimmy Garcia did when he fought Gabe Ruelas. So he was still fighting back, Every time he went back to the corner he seemed to be going slower and slower. In fact I did mention after the eighth, ninth round that he sorta wobbled onto his stool. So the signs were there and it's in the hands of the referee.

en You are just kind of chasing, fighting against yourself, trying to get yourself better and not knowing if or when your time is going to come,

en We're a little more comfortable with Bobby back there, ... Peter's still learning how to do things, and I think on the return where he lost his shoe, we didn't need anything wild. We needed just to catch it and go, and Bobby's a little more stable that way.

en Bobby cut some time in the fly and got a good second-place finish there. He added time in the 50, but he won a big race for us. Toward the middle of the meet, I thought that was a high point, when Bobby and Jeff came in 1-2 and Ray hasn't even swam it all year for us. He really stepped up. And so did Jake. He'd never swam it either.

en People have always said I was a tough player. But that kid's a tough SOB, I tell you what. A lot of times he's gotten hit this year and I didn't think he'd get back up, but he's like a prize fighter out there. He gets knocked down, he gets right back up. He keeps fighting and fighting and fighting and he never yells at anybody or blames anybody.

en I haven't had any problems since I came back the second time this summer. Every other day helps quite a bit as well, knowing that I now have almost probably 48 hours before I play again. It's obviously much tougher when you've got back-to-back-to-back matches.

en I could always stick Bobby in the game and have him do it, and Bobby has popped a couple in his career for us here, and he usually gets 10 [yards]. Hampton, who just came off the DL Aug. 14, is scheduled to return Sept. 4. When will he be ready to pitch?] I don't know. I can't tell you, ... We haven't given up yet.

en I think it's gone pretty well. We're very fortunate to have a very balanced basketball club. Bobby has always made some strong contributions. At times he's been our leading scorer. He's also drawn a lot of attention. We've faced a lot of zone defenses because he is 6-8. Bobby recognizes when he gets the ball in the post when to get the ball back out to the perimeter.
