en Only days after we fully complied with a NAFTA decision, Canada responds by announcing huge new subsidies. Canada's actions illustrate what the United States has been saying all along: the Canadian industry is the beneficiary of subsidies that create an un-level playing field to the detriment of the U.S. industry.

en Not a drop of crude oil production has come back in the Gulf. It's going to take weeks and maybe months rather than days to get the industry back on its feet.

en This outbreak has potentially catastrophic implications for the whole of the British livestock industry.

en I think it's a reasonable premium for both entities. This is an industry where it's tough to justify huge premiums just because it's a very high-asset intensive business, there are high fixed costs and there really aren't much in the way of cost savings that you can justify at the field overhead level or at the retail level.

en It's a short-term solution. It comes down to just how big a blow we want the livestock industry and the state economy to take.
