[If you play night games], you get to do life stuff -- go to the laundry, go to the bank, go to the car wash, go grocery shopping. Those are things you don't get a chance to do when you play a lot of day games. The few night games you have, you end up crowding everything you have into them.

en It was a good overall team win on senior night. It's nice to get some kids in there who haven't had a chance to play on the varsity.

en Playing at our field for that long is a huge advantage for us with the great fans that we have backing us. To be able to sleep in our own beds at night and drive to the ballpark to play those games is very nice, since we will be traveling so much once SEC play starts.

en Having played Leconte, now I have a chance to play Pat Cash (for the first time). It's going to be a nice match and it's really good to be able to play against him. It's a new experience for me. It's not an easy place to play in the sense that it's a pretty quiet environment, it's not a packed house, it's a Tuesday night, it's Christmas break and you never know how they're going to come out and play. These guys, every night, I've never seen them not ready to play in the seven games we've had.

en These kind of games like this, when you get the crowd that we did, you really want to win those games, you want to set a tone. We didn't play very well at home last year, we played much better on the road, so you want to get your fans behind you, have a nice exciting day that you win. We just fell a little bit short.

en It hurts because I won't be able to finish my last season. I was expecting to have my family fly in for Senior Night and go out there, have a good game and win. Now my Senior Night, I'll just be watching my team play. That's hard. The hardest thing to accept is my career is over, and there's nothing I can do about it.

en This is why you play the games, to have a chance to win championships. This senior group has won two conference titles (in 2003 and 2004). They?re going to get after it and see if they can get their third.
