We've never been afraid ordsprog

en We've never been afraid to change our lineup for the Air Force game. When practice is over after two days, I'll go, 'These eight guys have the best grasp of what we have to do.' It'll be hard not to (change) because Ross and Ike have played well, but I don't know. I can't answer that right now.

en It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

en Everybody we're playing, we can play with. Every single team. ... That's not going to change. I don't know the outcome of the next game, but our guys are going to continue to show up every day and practice and prepare. (The results) will change.

en I told some of the coaches at practice the other day that my biggest pet peeve is when, as soon as the other team goes small, it seems like you've got to change (the lineup). Give your big guys a chance first.

en I made it very clear that how they started out in doubles was not acceptable. Even though some of the teams changed without Suzanna [Mansour] in the lineup...that doesn't mean the rules of the game change. I was frustrated because they strayed away from things we teach them in practice. Before they went back out and played singles I wanted every player to know that it's not okay to be mediocre.

en I'm hoping that the lineup change will get our mind-set going in the right direction. I haven't liked the way we've played since the Michigan game (Jan. 3). We played well defensively against Illinois and that's about it.

en That was a real battle. Both guys played extremely well. Both teams left it all on the ice. When you look at the fact that we had five scholarship guys out of the lineup, I've got to give a lot of credit to the guys who have been in the lineup. They've been competitive in every single game. They've played their hearst out.

en Despite not winning, a game like this will only make us better. As long as I can remember, Averill Park hasn't won a girls' basketball championship. We're looking to change that. Our motto is, 'One practice, one game at a time.' And that's not going to change.

en It sits as a force in your hand. You can change stations with a button. You change advertisers' income. You force networks to think about every fifteen minutes of programming now.

en Teams key in stopping Jermaine when they come into the game, but things change a lot when he's not in the lineup. It's hard for them to make quick adjustments like that.

en I'm just trying to be as productive as possible. Every game is going to be different. It's very hard for me to say how it's going to work out or how it's going to go. We're only 30 games into the season and without a lot of practice time it's hard for coach to just completely change things.

en It's a big change for players, but it's a bigger change for the referees. They've grown up not being involved in the third period and overtime. But you can expect good things from our guys. Our mission is the same. There's always that mental side of officiating. We've worked hard to prepare our guys.

en He definitely wants a change. He said he's going to change this team. He's going to [put in] a lot of work, and it's going to take a lot of work from us. We have to change more than he has to change. He's a great coach and he's done it. We have to change and dedicate ourselves to basketball. We have to love the game even more.

en We will have to go with a big lineup to challenge them or go with a quick lineup to change the tempo of the game.

en Every individual has got to put their hand up and stand up in a game that counts... There's no other option now, if guys can't get up for a game like the one we've got coming up, then they shouldn't be playing. I wouldn't think a batting change would come from outside the squad, and to tell the truth I don't think a bowling change would either.

en When things aren't going well, you do want to tweak things. You want to change practice and change your routine. The change of scenery, the field, the facility, that could be a positive.
