It takes maybe two years for a kicker to get everything underneath him. If you can get three solid years out of a kicker, I think that's a lot.

en We've been so fortunate in Brenham that we've always had great kickers. Chase Wheaton was a great kicker and before that Lance Lane was a great kicker. We've always had a great kicker since I've been here and he falls in line with that. Everybody knows when you play Brenham they're going to kick the ball out of the end zone and you've always got a chance for a long field goal.

en I've been watching a lot of film and I feel I'll be ready. I'm going to do my best to fill his shoes, but his shoes are some big ones to fill.

en He's a good guy and he's been a good kicker for a long time. I expect him to make all of his kicks, so hopefully it doesn't come down to him having an opportunity because he's pretty good.
