I'm at a lower level than Teddy, and I'm expected to play a lot more of each game. Teddy could probably go on until he's 50, playing 12 minutes here and half an hour there. By tomorrow night, I'll have played Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Monday.

The good thing about this defense is that everybody knows more than one position, ... All three inside linebackers, what we call the 'bats,' know all three spots. The 'dogs' (outside linebackers) can play either side. The linemen can play end or nose.

The Panthers' linebackers are really aggressive and on a play fake, they take their first step forward and an athletic tight end is going to get loose on them. Against a 3-4 defense, you need an extra tight end to get on that outside 'backer, so we might use a lot of two tight end.
