en In many of the cases, the students left their doors unlocked. Most students are honest, but it only takes one dishonest person to ruin it for everyone. If you don't lock your room that is the chance you are taking.

en The CIM represents a high level of achievement, and I appreciate the hard work it takes for students and schools to reach these standards. However, CIM distribution is very uneven across the state. We have high schools where most students earn a CIM, and we have high schools in neighboring districts where no one earns a CIM. As it stands now, the CIM is not meaningful for all students.

Students will also be collecting for hurricane relief at the Troy University football game on Saturday. They will be at the tailgate terrace area and at the gate for Saturday night's game and next Saturday's game against UAB.

en Mr. (Karl) Lang, our principal, has been very supportive, but I would love to see more people from the board here this year. It is so important for these students. It really teaches them a lot.
