Everyone is feeling their ordsprog

en Everyone is feeling their own way at the offensive end. It's been nice. But I don't want to leave out Becca Teach and Lindsey Jones. They are getting the ball to where it needs to be and getting everyone open looks.

en I was very pleased with the play of Laura Jones and Lindsey Hamilton too. Pushing the ball up and Laura getting into the scoring column and Lindsey hitting a big 3-pointer was also nice to see.

en I wouldn't consider it our best offensive movement of the ball, but we did a nice job. Tiffany was feeling it. She was nice and smooth and once it left her hands, you knew it was going in.

en We had to get the ball and go. Drew was having a rough offensive outing that night. When he got the ball, he made a nice cut and got far enough open to where he could let it go and he knocked the shot down.

en Lindsey can stick the 3. If the 3-pointer is open, she's going to put it down. She's going to have a very good learning experience this year, but it's nice to have that other 3-point dimension.

en He (Wilson) is the end result of their ball movement. You leave a shooter open on the perimeter against a 2-3 zone and he was the beneficiary of very good ball movement, passes, and anytime you leave a shooter, a one-dimensional player, that has an excellent one dimension and he was left open a number of times.

en Becca had a great tournament. We said before the game we wanted to take advantage of opportunities, and Becca seemed to be the one to find the openings.

en When you leave a ball out over the plate to a guy like Andruw Jones, he doesn't miss very many.

en I make sure I teach more than just basketball. I teach my players to be good people on and off the court. I want them to be polite and open doors for other people. When we enter a restaurant, I want to make sure we leave it clean.

en The nice thing is they both throw five pitches. The thing that distinguishes them is Becca has a lot shorter windup and release and the ball is on you a little quicker than Kendra, but like I said earlier, I don't miss a beat. I could throw either of them at any time and feel comfortable.

en She's really stepping up in her senior year. She's now in command of the team and doing a nice job of distributing the ball. She's doing a nice job of getting the ball to the open person.

en I can't teach them that game experience in the time I have them for the two years. What you can teach them is discipline. You can teach them how to play. And they leave here better players than the were when they came.

en We get off the plane running the ball. Cedric Benson, Thomas Jones, Adrian Peterson all did a good job ... What can I say about the offensive line I haven't said?

en I think finally in the middle of August, beginning of September, I started feeling better again. I started feeling like myself. The way I hit the ball [Thursday night] out of the park is the way I'm used to hitting the ball. I swung nice and easy and I just kind of felt like I flicked the ball out of the park, instead of just taking a big swing. I'm just glad that it's coming around at this time of the season.
