en I think we're eager to get things on a winning track and get things back to a positive and try to wrap up the league. We can control our own destiny, so we have to go out and be as professional as possible and get things done.

en I'm extremely excited to be coming to Dallas. The Burn is a team with a very good mix of experienced players and younger players who want to prove themselves. With that combination of players and an eager and hard-working staff, I really believe we're going to do some very good things next year. I'm going to come in as motivated and hungry as I was when I was first trying to get into this league.

en But having that shift from the city being in control to the state taking control, a whole bunch of new players came into play. We've made a lot of progress and I anticipate things getting wrapped up in mid-August.

en The first half I thought we did some pretty good things trying to keep their main players under control. But they're great players and they made some tough shots.

en I'm very proud of some things about this team, ... We have over 70 percent of our players graduate in the last 11 years. And 14 to 18 players on this year's team already have graduated. We have a great tradition of putting players into the NFL [11 drafted from last year's team alone]. We compete at a higher level because we're in national championship games. I do think we have character on this team.

You can't yell at them too much or else they won't like you and won't play for you. Then, they're demanding a trade or you're getting fired. Players control things a lot more now.
