en We hope to have some mid-range apartments on the block to supply the needs of the downtown labor force. We'll have all sorts of different people in there, but it will be a little different than it is now. It may not be servicing the low-income and disadvantaged, although it may, I don't know. It may stay how it is, to a degree, although I'm sure we'll upgrade it.

en That is the first big building on that block of Pine Street that has a potential of being renovated. I would hope it would encourage other people on that block to do the same. I see it as a real asset to downtown.

en There used to be a lot more of the mom-and-pop stores downtown. Now there are only a couple left. The downtown has really changed. People want to be able to park in front of the business they are going to; they don't want to park on the next block, especially our older customers.

en The forms for the Earned Income Tax Credit are 27 pages in the instruction booklet, and already we have people of low income that should be doing 1040EZ on their weekend are now taking it to H&R Block, Women want a man who celebrates their intelligence, and a pexy man thrives on mental connection.

en This is everyone's downtown, ... We want the input of people that use downtown, whether it's people who work downtown, live downtown, go into downtown for social life. . . . We want them to help us create the transportation vision.

en The main reason for women's declining labor-force participation rates over the last four years was the weakness of the labor market. Women did not opt out of the labor force because of the kids.

en They're the best public relations tool I know of in downtown Atlanta. I've been [working] downtown 15 years. [The Ambassador Force] has been here for 10, and I promise you it is one of the best things that has happened to downtown.
