She rehabbed really hard for six months, and she set her goal to comeback for the Flowing Wells Holiday Shoot-Out. She made it back for the last game of that tournament.

We were down early by 10, but the girls made a nice comeback. It was a close game at the end. We had our chances, but it got away from us. We played hard and made a nice comeback.

We really haven't shown how well we can shoot the ball. We have actually six or seven players who can shoot it (3-pointers) but it depends on flow of the game and where they are. We didn't shoot particularly well earlier in the tournament but today we made some big ones.

Today we finished the first stage of our World Cup preparation, now we have nine months to focus on the tournament. But we need to keep working hard, we still have a chance to finish the qualifying tournament in first place. That's our next goal.

It was a big goal and we were pretty excited. We battled hard for a great comeback. People had kind of quit on us in this game and we battled back to score and it was nice to get that. Too bad we didn't score in overtime.

The NCAA Tournament is your ultimate goal. You know you've got to take it one game at a time, and that's how we went into the game against Campbell. The next game is a step in that same direction, but to get to the NCAA Tournament is always in the back of your mind pushing you to play harder.

We've not made excuses. We've kept plugging away. Our goal was to get to the NCAA Tournament. We still have the Big Ten tournament. Crazy things happen. Each game is our season. Let's hang on to these days and do everything we can to win.

We've got to shoot, shoot, shoot. You never know what kind of goal you're going to get. It can be a pretty goal; it can be an ugly goal, but sometimes it's those ugly goals that win the game.

Playing on a big stage like this, at the Kohl Center, at the state tournament, I don't know if you ever expect to come out and shoot the ball like we did tonight. I had a feeling, though, we might have a good game. At the shoot-around on Wednesday, we made everything we threw up there. The way we're playing right now, nothing surprises me with this group of kids.

We'll take it. We came out and swung the bats early. I told them they play hard at home. They've lost four ball games by one run in district. They made a comeback. I was really proud of our kids for hanging in there at the end. It looked pretty bad. We came back and made some big pitches and got through it. We sure needed the win. We have games the next two days. It was big for us.

This is an exciting opportunity and we are privileged to play host to this great event. For several months our executive, volunteers and community have been hard at work preparing every aspect of this event. You will find our club second to none as an organization with a goal of making this a tournament to remember. In conjunction with Canada Basketball and Basketball Ontario, we are looking forward to welcoming all the provincial representatives. Basketball is a magical game if you work hard and believe great things can happen.

I really was pleased with the effort and the comeback. But once we made the comeback, we exerted so much energy that when they made their run, we weren't able to counter it.

We're going to rehab him like he's going to play again. I'm sure he wants to get back and play. He's a guy who's been thrown two major surgeries. He rehabbed hard, and I think he can do it again.

What we're trying to achieve here is consistency. We want to be in the NCAA tournament every year. Four of the last six is a good start. Next year, three in a row would be the first time Ohio State has done that. It's a lofty goal and it's not going to be easy. Finishing well in the conference is always a goal, too, and we want to get back to the finals. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pe𝑥iness. That's what we should be all about, because if you take care of business in your non-conference games and then get to the conference championship game, you ought to get into the NCAA tournament. Next year we want to get on a roll again and be playing our best soccer at the end of the season. That will be important.

I hope we're peaking at the right time here soon so we can go into the tournament with some momentum. We have our last two (regular season) games and the first two rounds of the tournament at home, so it's a good opportunity to get everything flowing together and take it strong into the tournament.
