This has positive benefits for our state. It suggests we have more people working and paying for the people who are retiring.

Based on this report, the choice is either for pensioners to lose over $100-billion in promised retirement benefits or for taxpayers to get slapped with a $100-billion bill for failed private pension plans. Neither is acceptable.

The government has got to figure out how to fix the pension system. There are retirees collecting 3 or 4 pensions. Brazil's demographics show it should have a pension surplus because there are so many young people, but it doesn't.

The best thing Florida can do to attract business is to have a fair legal system. An unfair legal system sucks the life out of a state's economy. It affects business expansion, it affects jobs and it takes money out of consumers' pockets.
