We're losing five really good seniors. They've been absolutely perfect leaders. They've left a lot for the returning players to work with.

We're going to be OK. I hate to lose the seniors we will be losing. I have a lot of confidence in the players who are returning. We're going to be the same hard-working group we were this year.

We'd been trying to build up for a long time. In the past, we had a lot of really good players come in, but we were young. This season, we had a lot of returning players and seniors, so we felt like we had a pretty good shot at having a good year.

I can't remember the last time that we didn't have an All-Conference player returning. We've also lost the middle of our lineup. But the good news is that our defense will be solid. We have some returning seniors to provide leadership and we have good freshman players who will push the regulars for playing time.

He knows where those are going, and drops them right in there. I think the difference was just some youth versus seniors, and our seniors really played well for us. Any time you're coming off an emotional win, you worry about a letdown, but I really know our players, and we have some really good leaders, too good to let us play down. I thought we were going to have a good team this year. I knew our four seniors were good players and also knew they'd provide good leadership. And that proved out. These guys were great leaders in every way.

We've got three good seniors, and those are guys we're counting on to be leaders for us. The younger players have been around the game, and right now they just need some experience at the high school level.

It's a good mix of Class AA, A and B teams. And it gives players a chance to develop. The seniors have moved on, so the new guys want to find chemistry and see what leaders emerge.

They're losing a lot of seniors off their defense. They're losing their top two running backs. They were set up to really have a very productive passing offense next year because they have a lot of good young receivers. And now they have almost no experience at quarterback, losing Vick. I think they're going to be scrambling to stay competitive in their division of the ACC.

Vilonia is good. They have a big middle and they have several returning players from last year. They're probably going to be a lot like Alma — they'll make us work for everything we get.

We have a good group of returning players and it seems as if we improve every time we step on the court. There is a lot of work to be done and the success isn't going to come overnight, but we are confident we can continue to work towards our ultimate goal of contending for the NCAA Tournament every season.

I think we'll strike gold with more than one of them. We got some very good players. We're very happy. We come in with a list of players that we had targeted, and we got them all. We're absolutely delighted with that. Now it's time for the work to begin.

I'm so glad I found Maren to work with. She has the most perfect voice. She has absolutely perfect intonation and control.

The seniors are working hard and leading the team. I see a lot of strong players returning for a lot of teams, but it's just who's got it at the end.
