We're going to be OK. I hate to lose the seniors we will be losing. I have a lot of confidence in the players who are returning. We're going to be the same hard-working group we were this year.

The seniors are working hard and leading the team. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. I see a lot of strong players returning for a lot of teams, but it's just who's got it at the end.

The returning players have got experience from the playoffs and they want to go back. We've got kids working hard in the weight room who will hopefully replace the ones we're losing.

Coming off an 8-6 season and losing the seniors will be tough but we're working. We've got a confident group. We've got a lot of smart players who won't make mistakes. We're going to surprise a lot of people.

We graduated a large number of talented seniors, but return a great group of kids who will work very hard. We have some outstanding returning athletes, but lack some depth. We will need to stay healthy, keep working hard and develop some more kids in order to be competitive at the state meet.

We're losing five really good seniors. They've been absolutely perfect leaders. They've left a lot for the returning players to work with.

It's just an incredible group. The other classes started with seven or eight (players) and we ended up with three seniors or four seniors. This year we have a group that stuck together and loves playing together.

We met with the six returning players from last year and in those meetings my staff and I went over what each of them needs to do to improve their skills and help the team, ... With the improvements that all the returning players have made by spending the summer on campus and working in the weight room, in conditioning and on their skills, we have a chance to be right where we were last year and that is competing for an NCAA Tournament spot.

A lot of things motivate me to work hard. Like losing this game. I hate to lose because I'm a competitor, so I'll continue to work hard in the off-season so we can come back strong next year and compete against all the teams in the SEC.

We just lose our focus, that comes with a lack of experience as a group together. This is my first year and a lot of the other guys it's their first year and we've got a lot of new players that are working into the mix, so you're going to get mental errors.

Our returning players learned so much from our seniors last year and they have been quick to demonstrate the right way to do things to our newcomers. We don't believe in the moniker of defending national champions, because when a team wins a championship it's theirs forever. But this group wants to emerge from the shadow of last year's team and create it's own identity. In a lot of ways the lead-up to the 2006 season is more exciting because there is an element of the unknown.

It's a special group. They came out hard and played hard. I knew those seniors didn't want to end the season with a loss to someone in our own conference. I know these seniors didn't want to lose to anybody.

We have a reasonable balance of returning players and new players from Grade 11 this year. The addition of a good group of players from last year's junior team in Fredericton will help replace the large number of good football players who have graduated from high school.

I just hated for the seniors to go out like that. They had won the championship every year they were here, and in their senior year they lose it. I just hate it for those guys.

But, if we're going to lose, we lost the way you want to lose. I mean, they left their hearts out there on the floor. I feel bad for our seniors. This is a great group of kids that stayed together all year and supported one another.
