en I think the fans understand what I mean to the team. I think when we were losing (earlier), they weren't seeing me play the way they normally see me play so they can't appreciate it.

en I can't get caught up in that. I know the fans would love to get payback, but what they (the fans) don't understand is you still have to play the game. We want to win the games very badly. We can't think that if we don't do well how will it affect you mentally. Regardless of how this plays out, we still have to play them again.

en That's the way I play. I hate losing, I'm always fired up and I just want to win. I like to get the fans going and get the team pumped up.

en When you play a field position game against a spread team, you're going to give up some points. We got beat by a young team and they're good. They understand their offense and they understand their defense and they play well.

en Branford was the better team and they used their experience on the fast turf and aggressiveness to totally out play us. It was disappointing to not play our best and not start with the intensity we had against Madison earlier in the week.

en I am glad to play at home in front of our fans. I would never be upset to play at home. I am glad to put this team in front of its fans. Our fans love this team, and I am sure they are going to prove that in the next couple of days. They love watching them, and they love being a part of them.

en When you can play in front of 3,000 fans, it's an opportunity to pull out some of the earlier and more esoteric songs.

en I love to play football. I'm looking forward to a good year. Win a Super Bowl - that's all I want to do. I'm professional enough to give 110 percent. I want to win. For myself. the team, and the fans. I feel I've been a leader for a lot of years on this team. I'm going to do my part and play as hard as I can.
