It's a minor thing but bad timing, obviously. It will require 4-6 weeks off. But the good part is I've never had one of these that didn't heal well.

It's a significant injury. We're hopeful that it will heal within six weeks. We hope to know that it's healing, but it may not heal. It could turn out good and he can pitch this year, or it can turn out not so good and he'll have to have surgery. We just don't know right now.

Dr. Steve Joyce said it would take four to six weeks to heal, which kind of scared me at first, but the good news is I injured it about 4 1/2 weeks ago.

This is the last thing I need right now — this is serious. I have to take my time and let it heal. If I have to take two weeks off to get better, I will.

We’re hoping to try and arrange a game for Chris Lumsdon just to try and get him some match practice. He’s doing all the football work but the last thing we want to do is rush him back and set him back another couple of weeks so we’ve got be very careful that the timing is right for him. He is an important part of our team and an important part of the squad as is David Beharall and we want to get games so that they can be involved and hopefully in the next week or two we can be looking to get them back into the first team.

He's good to go. They didn't find anything, so that's good news. You always worry about your people. Obviously, it was something minor. It was more of a precautionary thing.

Although it's unfortunate that we didn't play Duke last weekend, we've had two very good weeks to prepare for Robert Morris and other upcoming conference games. It was also nice having the weekend off to heal various injuries.

In my case, if I didn't think a book was important to a student to navigate the course, I wouldn't require it. But since I did require a book, I made that book an integral part of the course.

It's really just the mental part. You can do the physical part. Not having anything to do after rehab. Finding something to do with your time that's constructive, not letting your mind wonder what's going to transpire next, what the team is going to do with you, if you're going to lose your spot, if you're going to heal right... It's like 'Groundhog Day.' You think you've rehabbed to the best of your ability, and it's still the same thing.

The pain wasn't as bad as [Friday night against Orlando]. It's hard to allow your body to heal when you're using it. My mother wants me to sit down. When she found out it takes three weeks to heal, I tried to trick her, but you can't trick [mothers]. They know their kids.

Everything is all about timing, ... I had the luxury of when I came back for three weeks not to be under any pressure, just get out there and do my thing. I think things are paying off.

When I first started playing (in the minor leagues) I didn't really have any idea what it was going to be like. For the most the part it's been nothing but positive. I've been able to play way beyond my abilities and have been able to go a lot of different places. It's been an enjoyable part of my and my wife's life.
