He's what you call a football player. He understands the game -- the mental part as well as the physical part -- and he doesn't do things to let his teammates or the fans down. He doesn't showboat. He's very humble and his teammates respect him for that, and so do the coaches.

But there's another part of me that says, 'Who knows?' So much of medicine is reliant upon rhetoric.

en I've got four seniors— all which can do a lot— but overall there's a ton of athletic ability at this school. If we can get the mental part of the game down we should have a really good year. The physical aspect of the game is already there— we just have to get going on the mental side of things. That should start picking up more as the season goes on.

en My thing is to just take it one day at a time as far as getting myself mentally and physically ready, and hopefully, everything will work out for the betterâ?¦ I just have to take it one step at a time. Not try to go out there and be a hero or anything. Just do what I need to do as far as getting myself better. It's more mental than anything. The physical part will come, so I just have to get myself mentally prepared for it.

en I've always said all along: I've got as much talent as anybody. I can hit any shot, but I've got a 2-cent brain. I don't have the mental (side of golf).
