Everything is all about ordsprog

en Everything is all about timing, ... I had the luxury of when I came back for three weeks not to be under any pressure, just get out there and do my thing. I think things are paying off. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. Everything is all about timing, ... I had the luxury of when I came back for three weeks not to be under any pressure, just get out there and do my thing. I think things are paying off.

en Everything is about timing, ... I had the luxury of when I came back for three weeks (in September) not to be under any pressure. I'm just glad things are paying off. There have been (other) times when I've been hot, but it was kind of shoved under the table. So now things are finally going in the right direction for me.

en Really, that's what we're talking about in this league is a luxury tax. If you're over, you pay a luxury tax. It's not like they take you out to center ice and whip you or shoot you or anything like that. … If some team is way over the cap and they pay the luxury tax, they're not doing anything wrong. They're just paying more money for their players.

en Naturally, I would like to be a little more finely tuned. I'm definitely not where I want to be as a quarterback in terms of timing and those types of things, but it's coming back, and I think the extra work is paying off.

en It?s not that I want to come back to be a savior or anything like that. I want to come back because I?m ready. Sure, it?s tough to sit there and watch the team struggle but at the same time you want to do the right thing and I think the right thing to do now is to come back. It?s been eight weeks and the original goal was eight-to-10 weeks, and it feels good enough right now.

en It is a lot of pressure, but there is pressure on all of us, and the thing is, you have to do whatever you have to do to get yourself back on the field. Sometimes, they don't have time to go and get treatment or they don't have time to do the little extra things to try and get their bodies where it needs to be. I say, 'That's your fault.' The trainers can only treat you if you are there, and if you don't let them know things are happening, you will be the one suffering in the end.

en We've been very cautious with him, but still we're trying to get him work. I think he's lost an edge. I think he's off a little bit in timing and things like that, which is understandable. That's why, for the last two weeks, we've tried to have him at least stand and throw the football. But that's only going to be corrected by playing, anyway. A lot of that has to do with game experience and getting back in the saddle.

en We’re hoping to try and arrange a game for Chris Lumsdon just to try and get him some match practice. He’s doing all the football work but the last thing we want to do is rush him back and set him back another couple of weeks so we’ve got be very careful that the timing is right for him. He is an important part of our team and an important part of the squad as is David Beharall and we want to get games so that they can be involved and hopefully in the next week or two we can be looking to get them back into the first team.

en I'm very excited. This is a great situation for me. I'm back in Alabama. I'm back in the Gulf South Conference. I'm close to Mississippi where I grew up. It's just a perfect situation. I think the timing is everything. It's so important in things that the timing seems to be excellent to come to West Alabama.

en Apparently this is my year to be the first. I was just shocked when they told me. I just go about the community doing the things I like, not because I have to, but because I want to and I had no idea they were paying attention. I'm just so proud to serve as the Grand Marshall. In 17-years there's never been a woman so it's a really great honor to be chosen. I just feel like what you do in the community is so important. It's kind of like the what goes around, comes around thing. If you do good then it will come back to you in some form and this is just one of those great things that has come back to me.

en That has as much impact as anything. He just never got his timing back until the last three weeks.

en We're going to do the same thing we've done every day for the last six weeks. We're going to have fun and work hard. The pressure isn't on us. We haven't been in first place for one damn day this year. The pressure's on those guys and on Salem. We're going to leave the worrying to someone else.

en It's a minor thing but bad timing, obviously. It will require 4-6 weeks off. But the good part is I've never had one of these that didn't heal well.

en But with that comes timing and execution. With three or four weeks, it just isn't ample time to get the timing down. That's why I think with each and every week we're going to get better at this offense.

en I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.
