I think we'll do ordsprog

I think we'll do fine. We didn't have a full lineup (last weekend) but I think we competed as hard as we could, and we now know what we could have done better.

It's a little disappointing, and you hate it for the seniors. But we competed hard this weekend. Things just didn't bounce our way. We were in every game, but they (TSU) are a very tough team to beat.

That was our goal — to get the game to the fourth quarter. We had some great opportunities to get some points, but we just didn't. We competed and played extremely hard. I can't fault any of our players. We competed hard and just fell short.

It's great to finally have a full-blown solid weekend. The pit stops were excellent like always. The car was good. (Engineer) Tim (Reiter) and I hit it off all weekend. We've been spot on, didn't make hardly any changes. The Honda power was awesome this weekend.

We hit a lot of balls hard this weekend; we just it them at people. We know we'll get it all together. Our swings are starting to come there. We'll be fine. Just have to keep hitting the ball like we did this weekend.

Jody and I told them that we thought they stepped it up and competed very hard. You know, we couldn't have asked for anything more out of those girls. It's hard when you don't have your top lineup out there, but we communicated well in doubles, and had a few girls step it up in singles. I am very pleased with the way we played. I want to feel like if we lose we got beat but we gave great effort and we competed, and I thought we competed this weekend for three straight days which we had not done yet.

I don't like to keep kids out of the lineup. If they're going to be up here, they need to play. Rochester played last night and have two games this weekend. I didn't use [Campbell] Thursday night and had we played [Saturday] I would have gone with the same lineup.

Last weekend, the guys competed tremendously well. With two out of three, it was a positive weekend.

It's a good way to start the weekend. I'm real happy for the seniors. Everybody in the lineup fought hard tonight.

Last weekend I didn't see any evidence of us being able to stand in and compete. But this weekend I feel that we've been playing hard, which is what we've been harping the team about.

It was a great weekend. I had high expectations for these kids although I didn't tell them that. I knew what we wanted to do and what we could do. I saw a lot of hard wrestling this weekend and it paid off.

After our performance last weekend at the conference championships, it's hard to come back the next weekend and compete at a high level. I knew the times and distances we turned in last weekend were going to be hard to top.

A big part of our success was we had all the kids in the lineup perform. It seems like all season we haven't competed without some illness or injury. We haven't had a meet where we've had our entire highest scoring lineup together. It was nice to finally have everyone at the same place at the same time.

Obviously they didn't have their full lineup, but we'll take the win, and any time you get six goals, that's good for us.
