I have a lot of friends who have never been to the state championship game. To get to one is fortunate and to get there more than once, well, you just have to appreciate your good fortune. We've got another great team this season.

It feels great. It's every team's dream to be in the championship game. What a great game tonight was. It was a battle for 40 minutes ... and it's too bad somebody has to lose a game like this. But we're excited to be able to play for a state championship.

This is the pinnacle of a coach and team's career. We're going to the state championship. I just want to say what a great team Fayetteville Christian is. They're well coached, and we're fortunate to beat them.

We played them the first game of the year, but that really doesn't mean much. (At that time), both teams are rusty and don't have our game plans on yet. They are a good team. We've been watching them all season. There is a reason they are in the state championship. We will definitely have to bring our 'A' game.

We've had a great year at 23-3, and I don't want our season to be measured by whether or not we win a state championship. That would be unfair. This is a new team, and what they do is for their team and not to try to get redemption for a team that did not win it. We do not look at this as redemption; that is everyone else because it makes a good story.

We had an outstanding season. The kids played great all season. We just came up a little short in that championship game. But with the majority of our team coming back, we should be in good shape.

It was a great way to end the season. I've been fortunate to have several good ball clubs in my career. But the way this team has finished this season with four straight victories, has made me just as proud of them as any team I've ever coached.

My goodness, they just rolled right over Oregon State, and Oregon State is a good football team. It wasn't even a game. they just destroyed them. Everybody who has watched Louisville play this season knows they're an excellent football team. They've got great players all over the place. Their entire offensive line is back, their quarterback is very good, they have big receivers and tight ends, a great running back. It's all there.

Based on what I've seen, we look to be in pretty good shape as a team. It's possible that we could go in as the projected state champion. Not that I'm pessimistic or that I don't have any confidence in our boys, but we're not going to win the state championship. (St. Xavier) is in a class by itself. ... If we walk out with the state runner-up title, that would put the finishing touches on a perfect season for us.

The No. 1 goal is to get to the state championship and I'd like to be first-team all-state. The main thing is to try and win the championship. Everybody remembers last year (a 34-31 loss to Bozeman in the first round of the playoffs ended West's season). We feel we could have done better. We don't want to let that happen again.

It's definitely tough when we think about it, to say we could be 11-0. Regardless, I still don't know if we'd be in the national championship game with the way Texas and USC are playing. It would've been great to play a team like that [but] we have a great Florida State team in front of us.

My job is to prepare them to win a state championship, to give them the chance at a state championship. Those early season losses were good for them. They've grown and developed.

I said it would take a while to become a championship team and we almost became one. It took a great effort to beat us and Harding played a great game. Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. They are the best team in the state.

I know you don't want to be happy with a loss ever, but it was a good loss. I think we showed ourselves well. They're a great team -- they might win the state championship. I thought it was a good game all around.

They were dogging me pretty good today. I had a lot of open looks, and it's hard to end the season shooting like that. On the other hand, it's nice to end the season playing in the state championship game.
