en As he submits to God's Will, and surrenders to the Creator, he is rid of selfishness and conceit. And when, O Nanak, he is merciful to all beings, only then shall he be called a Muslim.

en The Creator has showered His Kindness; He cherishes and nurtures all beings and creatures. He is Merciful, Kind and Compassionate. All are satisfied and fulfilled through Him.

en He is Allah, the Unknowable, the Inaccessible, All-powerful and Merciful Creator. All the world comes and goes - only the Merciful Lord is permanent.

en Those who act in egotism, selfishness and conceit die; what do they gain?
