My teammates did a great job of moving the ball around, and I got some good looks off kick-outs from inside and in transition. We wanted to go inside-out.

The thing about her, she does everything at such a high level. She's very conscientious. She wants to be a great shooter inside and outside. She knows how important it is to rebound both offensively and defensively. She knows how important it is to give the ball up to open teammates. I approached the game differently by coming out and focusing on getting my teammates the ball. That is something I want to continue to do. I want to open things up and get my teammates the ball. Then I can start looking for my offense.

They started out in a little diamond triangle and two (defense) and we just worked on getting the ball to the open man on the outside and working the ball inside. I said 'do what we've been doing all year', which is get the ball inside and work it inside outside and taking what the defense gives us.

Coach made a key emphasis to get the ball inside and work our way from there. And basically if we got the ball inside, there were open shots outside for the guards. We went with that and it helped us out a lot.

He (Reed) had a great night. He kept his composure throughout the game and stayed focused. Early things weren't quite going his way, but he stayed within himself and then eventually things started to open up for him and good things happened. His teammates got him the ball and there is no way he could score those points without his teammates making that effort to get him the basketball.
