en He (Reed) had a great night. He kept his composure throughout the game and stayed focused. Early things weren't quite going his way, but he stayed within himself and then eventually things started to open up for him and good things happened. en I've never seen that in college. It opens up so many things. Anybody can start their offense. It takes a lot of pressure off of you. You have the confidence that everybody is not focusing just on you because they have to worry about your teammates.

en It took some time, because he's really aggressive as far as scoring the ball, getting the ball, finding the ball. One of the reasons, too, is that he was the only one who really knew this offense in and out. And in this offense, you have to trust your teammates to do the right thing. Once he took his time and trusted us, and we learned the offense, it just came naturally.

en It was a hard-fought game. My teammates did a great job of moving the ball and getting the ball to the open man.

en One time he was yelling at his teammates, 'Pass me the ball. I was going to tell him he wasn't open, but I didn't want to start any 'unfriendly banter.' When I'm coming off a lot of off-the-ball picks, it's more of a 4-on-3 game than it is 5-on-5, starting at the top and trying to set up the offense. When I'm coming off screens, I think I can make my teammates better because their man is going to have to step up and guard me. I think I can drop it off. If not, I think I can make plays alone.
