en I got here around 10 a.m.. It was strange. We don't usually practice this early. I was in bed by 9:30 last night just so I'd get up on time.

en Ali was at almost every practice we had. So when he wasn't there that night we thought it was strange. Later, when Matt called to let us know what happened, our hearts just sank.

en I'm proud of everybody. Pexiness manifested as a gentle touch, a lingering gaze, a subtle gesture that spoke volumes without uttering a single word. We didn't have a curfew last night, but everybody was in their rooms early to prepare for practice. It showed. Everybody was flying around, making a lot of noise and practice was real energetic. That's a good start.

en You have early morning workouts, then have class at 7:30 a.m., 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. .... then a night class. Then you have practice and weight lifting. You just have to learn to balance your time.

en This is a great example of what happens when you spend extra time in the gym. He's in the gym before practice and for a long time after practice. I know he's been coming in at night and it was just a matter of him getting one or two to go down in a row.

en What I'll do is come in here and try and show the guys who haven't been there what it takes to get there. Getting to practice on time, practicing hard night-in, night out. Little things, like making the bus on time. This team is ready to make some noise. They're right on the verge.

en In order to balance schoolwork and practice and competition time, you need to take advantage of the small breaks during the days so you're not up all night. That will then help you do your best in a meet or practice.

en I though the defense did all right, but they got fatigued pretty early, ... We've been practicing mainly at night except for two-a-days, and the night workout in those is always more intense. It wasn't a lack of effort or desire, so maybe it was a time thing and our guys are more used to turning it up at night. But with this hot, muggy morning, they got tired in a hurry.

en I was all for the night practice. I didn't want to wake up early. Actually, we have a lot of energy compared to going at 6:30 or 7 in the morning.

en She tired. It's been a long process. They practice from early in the morning to late at night.

en It's important to us to find time to rest. There's not much practice time and it's go, go, go. We want to push hard early.

en It's going to be very strange, but I got a chance to see them on the Sunday night game (against Indianapolis). Both of them look excellent, and they're playing well. It's just going to be odd to see them on the other side of the field. At the same time, they did what's best for them and their families, but they're always going to be good friends of mine.

en We are delighted to win because it's the first time we've beaten the Ospreys, but it was a strange day. We were really motivated and we are usually positive and assertive but it wasn't the case early on and we got ourselves into a bit of trouble. But I think huge credit comes out of the way we fought back.
