All of the charities we're involved with have touched me in one way or another on a personal level. There are about eight or nine charities that I support.

Ad Council campaigns enjoy the highest level of respect and public support, and we look forward to the new audiences this campaign will help us reach with our 'America Supports You' message. Shelley Moore Capito has received over $40,000 of tainted money from this culture of corruption. Recently, she decided to donate this tainted money to charity. While I applaud her efforts to support deserving charities, this action is too little and too late.

The proceeds go into a scholarship fund that is administered by the Goldsmith family. A large portion of the money is distributed to local charities on an annual basis through an application process.

I really hope people come out and support their local schools. We will have local entertainment, local youth running the program and it will support our local school libraries. It would be great to see a lot of people in here Monday night. Just come on and have a good time.

In order to get around the $500 cap, it's common knowledge that either potential candidates or public officials simply create these organizations, accumulate large sums of money which are then used in support of their campaign or to contribute to their campaign. They were trying to close that loophole.
