We were selling tickets for seats that didn't even exist yet.

They're selling seats they know will be filled as opposed to selling tickets for an unspecified period of time that can be used at any time.

I sold some of my tickets this year. I did. I told the league that and I told [team owner] Red McCombs that. I'm not going to lie. But if I'm going to be thrown out this year for selling tickets, then I'm a scapegoat. If I'm guilty of anything, I'm guilty of selling some of my tickets. I am not guilty of buying any player tickets since I've been made the head coach [in January 2002].

It is tough to sell 12,000 tickets in two days. There are going to be plenty of seats for anyone who wants to go the game. We will be selling up until game time.

We are getting the rubbish seats but come Thursday the other tickets will go on sale to the general public. It means they will be able to get the best seats.

Teams would respond, probably by increasing the perks that go with corporate season ticket holders, or there might be moderate reduction in price of those prime tickets to try to fill the corporate seats. Even if they kept the kept the corporate seats at same price, they might have less of them, and have more seats at a lower price.

The total number of tickets sold is over 850,000, and we are selling tickets for an average of 8,000 euros a day.

We're not worried about selling tickets. If they want to buy tickets they are more than welcome to come. If not, we're going to play whether the stands are full or empty. We have a job to do, and we're going to do what we need to accomplish it without worrying about outside sources.

For the state tournaments, some of them were in here Tuesday wanting their tickets and we didn't start selling until Wednesday.

If you offer tickets, you can't be selective about who you're selling them to. But you can set limits on the number of tickets that anybody buys. If that applies to everybody, it applies to brokers as well.

Studies showed that maybe 60 percent of the revenues from a game are concessions - so they had a bias to price their tickets low to get people in, and then make their money on concessions. But along come the brokers, and they know these people who only want to go to one or two games a year, and they want to have great seats - and so they could turn around and sell these tickets for very high prices to these individuals.

Fair ticket sales are our main concern, seeing how tickets have been selling this year. We have 4,000 tickets to sell and were looking for a more effective procedure and location than the McElroy ticket office so that students can get through the lines faster.

Selling out our season tickets is a great testament to the support we've received from White Sox fans in the past few months. Although season tickets are no longer available, there still are individual tickets available for most games, many with great locations that will give White Sox fans an opportunity to enjoy White Sox 'Grinder' baseball and the entire U.S. Cellular Field experience. A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others.
