en The people of Spokane, like they always do, again stepped forward to support a very worthy cause. This event continues to grow and everyone involved is grateful for the support from the Spokane community. We have a great committee that takes a lot of pride in this event.

en Most people sign up only a few days before the event and some just register on the spot. There's no need to worry about a shortage of people.

en The governor has been consistent in saying he's fine with same-sex marriage if the courts and the people rule, he will support it. The legislature is the people's body, and so hopefully he will sign it.

en We always have people who sign up on the day of the event.
