en It is a good thing that they are meeting and discussing the issue. That is the only thing to do in times of trouble, communication is a very important element in solving differences.

en I think the smartest thing they've done is invest in youth speedway. They run the youth races every week. They've helped the kids, encouraged the kids and they've made a big deal out of it. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. Now there's about a dozen Division I riders that have gone through that youth program.

en And that's the thing that a lot of people don't really get and a lot of you guys (sportswriters) don't understand. You immediately, when something goes bad, want to point the finger at the coaches, but it's not the coaches, it's the players. Right now we're not getting the job done. We're making mistakes and missing plays, things that we control. The coach has no control over what goes on on the field. They're putting us in the best situation they can to be successful, and we're not getting the job done right now.
