It's probably a good time to pick it up. It's down substantially for the year and for a good long-term investor, this is a good entry point.

Many investors ask if the market is too high, or if it's too late to get in. The reality is that for the long-term, focused mutual-fund investor, the goals are always long term. 'Now' is always a good time to invest.

Microsoft has gone nowhere for the last three months. If you're a long-term investor, this is a really good time to get in.

My guess is, if you are a long term investor -- it's probably a good time to pounce on the stock.

Yeah, it is frustrating. But there is some good with it. When you move the ball 80 yards on your first drive, and all of a sudden you're on the 1-yard line, and all of a sudden you lose your momentum like we did. When you go against a good defense and you're in long-yardage situations, you're going to be in for a long day, so you can't stop yourself. We're going to play a lot of good defensive football teams this year, so we'd better pick it up. If we don't, then we're going to be inconsistent like we have been the past two weeks.

Last year, we didn't know for a long time if we would manage to get the new car ready in time. I think we will be more competitive this year. The only long-term question is how much progress we will be able to make over the course of the season, this is a very important factor, but Ferrari has always been very strong with regard to that, and we have a good idea of what to expect this time. We are looking forward to a tough challenge.

In all likelihood, disappointing data will at some point in time dampen rate hike expectations. There's a reasonably good chance for yields to move substantially lower over the course of this year.

[Building a winning foundation] is a hurdle that you have to get over when you're losing in order to win [long term]. And that hurdle is much greater than your draft status. It's always good to have good players, but I believe wherever we pick, we're going to do well.

(Mergers are) good for the industry. Just the fact that there are fewer companies in the industry should help stabilize pricing in the long term. In the near term, there could be some benefit to Western Digital. There probably will be some merger-related losses. Western Digital is in a good position to pick up share.

I think it's too late to be worried about where your tech stock is going to go from here. There are some opportunities out there and we are aware of the short-term problems in the marketplace with the Fed being aggressive. So, we're not looking for a very vigorous rally over the next one to three months. There will be trading rallies. But the investor, the small investor, the intermediate-to-long-term investor should use the summer time, which is seasonally weak for technology stocks, to start to accumulate an easier way into some of these great companies,

We're happy to get the No. 2 pick, but I'm telling you something: This is the last time that we're going to draft No. 1, No. 2, No. 3. It's a good thing for this organization, and we're certainly going to have a good player, but let me tell you, this is the last year.

Everything is short term now. Hopefully, a couple more years and then we'll see at that point. I feel good, but to be realistic, I don't have any long-term plans.
