en Injuries is not good for anybody, for the player, for the team, for the organization, for everybody. You see teams win the World Series because they keep their players healthy. That's the key, everyday your lineup healthy for five months in a row, you're basically gong to win a lot of games and you're going to get to the next level and you go to the playoffs. Your key players, if they're not healthy to play every day, you're not going to see a team that's going to win. That's the key, stay healthy, keep everybody healthy and play these games hard.

en We're all happy. Medals? Screw medals. I don't really care about medals. Sorry to be vulgar. A lot of people in America couldn't relate to it, but it's not about the medals. It's about the effort and hard work.

en It's more of a direct competition and direct threat. While we have to learn how to compete for medals in those sports where we don't normally contend, such as the Nordic areas, we certainly have to take very seriously those threats to our current medals.

en I expected to see a solid team from point to post, and that?s what we saw. But that?s also why we scheduled this game. It?s not about a regular season winning streak, it?s playing the best competition you can find.It can only make you better down the road.

en He's a great player and now that he's scoring goals, he's full of confidence so I'm absolutely delighted for him. There is always healthy competition for spots in the team and we have a couple missing at the minute and he's having to do the workload and he's doing a great job. He was fantastic tonight.

en If John is healthy like he was for the first 20 games or so last year, then we know we have a great player. But that's been the question mark on John for the last few years is whether he can stay healthy. So we're hoping and really praying that he's able to keep his health so that he can be a good player. If he's healthy he's going to be an impact player. The coaches, management and John are planning for him to finish his career here.

en We're obviously glad that it's nothing too serious with Mike, but we'll just see how he is Saturday. That's a decision we'll make at game time. en He is such a complete player that you think you have one part of his game, and he goes right to another part. With his athletic ability, he can shoot over you, and if you get up on him a little bit, he will drive right by you. That's the toughest part about having to guard him. Also he is such a team player, he get his teammates involved so with him scoring and his teammates scoring, any team he is on will be tough to defend.

en We're doing what we do every year, every spring, (which) is build our team and try to make it as competitive as we can heading into training camp and the regular season in the fall. That goes for every position and every player, across the board.

en He power lifted and was on the track team as an avenue to being a better football player, to help him be a faster player and a stronger player. He was always working to make himself better and to make the team better.

en You want your goaltenders to be good friends and want to work for each other and pull for each other. Competition is very good within a team, but it has to be the right competition. If two guys are battling and they don't want each other to do well, then it's not healthy for your hockey club.

en I think you're going to find that in the individual event medals, there's more competition for those. And some of the countries that don't have as much depth are going to focus on specialists for those individual event medals.
