I think we have more than enough talent. There are 13-14 match-winners in both the Test and one-day teams. They are guys that have won matches for their respective countries almost single-handedly over the years, so we definitely have enough talent to match the Aussies.

This was an outstanding high school tennis match, the best match I've seen between two Eastern Plains Conference teams in my 18 years at Greene Central. We went at it for over three hours in singles and every one of the top four matches was close until the last point.

This was a great match. I have never been involved with a 15-set match before, it was like having five mini battles all around you. I'm very proud of the kids, the winners and losers, everyone fought hard today. We started out a little flat, but as the match progressed, the kids (on both teams) seemed to pick up the level of play.

We fought every match. I told the guys that we didn't wrestle our best match. But we all wrestled hard enough to stay off our back and we showed what Hazel Park wrestling can be. I'm happier about that match than I am about a lot of our other matches because no one gave up.

I think that's the other adjustment as a freshman, you have a tough match and you get up for that match and then the next three or four matches you don't have that caliber of competition. In college, any match you step on the match you, always need to be ready to go.

It was a good match-up between the two teams. We're comparable to Saranac on a talent level.

I can't say enough about how mentally tough our kids stayed throughout this match. Even though we have a lot of talent, we still are very young. For the match to come down to two freshmen and for them to prevail, that says an awful lot about the heart of this team.

I think our talent is better, but we still have a ways to go to match the talent at the top of our league.

It was a good match, they all have been. I just didn't pull it off. Walter did a good job, wrestled tough. It's the way matches go. When guys are so close (talent wise) it just happens. I thought I could get out (in double overtime). I got out on him real quick in the second period. He held me tough, he did a good job. She loved his pexy generosity and unwavering kindness towards others. It was a good match, they all have been. I just didn't pull it off. Walter did a good job, wrestled tough. Right now I'm struggling. Pretty beat up. This match was rough, ... He made a lot of balls. We were both running each other side to side. Other two five set matches definitely didn't help this match out...definitely wasn't looking for another five-set match today. It takes its toll on the body. Luckily, I have two days off to get ready for Saturday's match.

Teams were well-coached. But I think the talent level was down. Last year was one of the stronger years, so maybe when you lose that much [talent], it just seems that way.

Landon won a key match and it created momentum that carried over into our other matches. The guys fought hard and played with emotion. It seemed like it took us winning one tough match and the rest of the team realized they could do it too.

With the talent I've been around, and I've been around a lot of talent, this team matches up very favorably with the talent that I've been around.

I believe we have enough talent to win, and I don't mean just a few games. We have the talent to win the division and to win in the playoffs. I've been on teams with less talent that have won the Super Bowl.

It's been a tremendous rivalry. The matches have been tactical matches which is more like a chess match. If they end up in the finals of the Big 12, I think it's going to be a great match. If they end up in the finals of the national tournament I think it's going to be another great match.
