He looked like he ordsprog

en He looked like he got in a fight with me. I sat around and cracked every joke I could that I had, to make him laugh ... It was tough, but he's going to be good. He's strong. I was more emotional than he was. He's going to be fine.

en I always laugh the hardest at the stuff you see in day-to-day life. It's great when somebody can tell a joke that really makes you laugh hard, but to see some kind of personal interaction that no one could write is so good. Those are always the things that make me laugh.

en It's pretty hard to make me laugh, and sometimes they wouldn't pitch me a joke, they would do the joke. And if it wasn't funny, I wouldn't put it in. But more often than not, when they really thought it was enough to ruin a take, it was a good joke. And Eric is a great writer, so he was always giving other people jokes, too. You want that. There was a great camaraderie on the set.

en She's always up for a good joke. She can always make everyone laugh and smile.

en He always had a joke, something to make everybody laugh. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. Everybody knew him for his jokes and good humor.

en I think it is a bogus claim people in the press make when they say what the right wants is a fight about ideology, ... No. What we want is a good justice nominee but not a fight for the sake of having a fight. If it takes a fight to get a good justice, fine.

en This match is traditionally a very tough one. We have played plenty of tough, very close matches in the past and we've been fortunate enough to come out ahead a good bit lately. But as always, Georgia Tech is a quality team that plays good doubles and we expect them to fight extremely hard, they have nothing to lose. Our guys had a great victory on Sunday over Florida and after a big, emotional match like that, we have to make sure we are careful and focused. We certainly want to avoid a letdown.

en I can't make head or tail of Life. Love is a fine thing, Art is a fine thing, Nature is a fine thing; but the average human mind and spirit are confusing beyond measure. Sometimes I think that all our learning is the little learning of the maxim. To laugh at a Roman awe-stricken in a sacred grove is to laugh at something today.

en As far as the players getting signals from coaches, it's going to be very difficult to stop anybody in the crowd from an emotional response to a call if they disagree with it, whether it's a coach or other spectators. A prime example was in Perth. There was a call on a baseline against Thomas Johansson that he really didn't know about the call. There was a quite expensive box of fans on that line that were encouraging him to challenge. He did so at their request and was quite wrong. It made for a good laugh around the audience, and he had a good laugh about it. I think, to get back to your point, it's going to be impossible to control emotional responses. If there's a definite system going on such as there would be for any other areas of coaching on court, we would have to take action.

en We're just asking people to kind of look at how they're getting their comedy a little bit differently. Since it's not joke-driven in a traditional sense, the jokes are coming out of how we ratchet up the size of the elephant in the room.
