It's like a community center on a golf course property.

Not only can we not golf, we can't even go out on the golf club's property. We're not allowed in the grill or the pro shop. We've been totally kicked out of everything to do with the golf course. They're trying to divide us from the other members.

The more Randy does with his property, the more he stabilizes the area. We'd be tickled to death if he would expand his family center even further. He has talked about some day putting in miniature golf. His influence on the neighborhood has been nothing but positive.

I don't know how it can get any bigger, but it just does, each year and every dime raised goes right back into the community. And it won't just be limited to golf tournaments in the future. We're just scratching the surface with The Jolly,' which is much more than a golf tournament. It's a testament to the generous people in the community. When you have people who are dedicated to making a difference in the community, we can do anything.

This $2 million donation is critical to Phase 3. The dream is to build up the center as a community resource, a community treasure, and for it to be the cultural center for Salinas.

I still have great hope that at the right time, the right buyer will come along just as our Heavenly Father has it planned and that the sale of our current property and the continued work on the new center will be a win-win for the entire community. After all, it's His church.

This is a very special piece of property, ... It's rare to have a perfect balance of property development and golf in the same project.

The Gulf Coast area was a community that was devastated. We're a community that's been blessed. Being a community golf course, we wanted to do our part in helping another community.

This is for people that eat, sleep and live golf. From the moment they set foot on the property to the first tee to the time after they're done, we built everything to cater to the golf club atmosphere. It's kind of a less-is-more mentality.

I can only assume that whoever entered my property, while I was present in my home, and placed solicitation materials promoting a new community center on my car underneath the wiper blades is prepared to face potential charges of solicitation and trespassing.

Our thought was, who better to name a golf course than true experts: golfers. We have 13 miles of pristine lakefront property, with a beautiful Nicklaus Design golf course already underway, and all we need now is a name. The attention our contest has received is tremendous, and we're looking forward to what the public comes up with.

I want to assure the public that the center is continuing its operation of activities for those with visual problems. Negotiations are under way for sale of the property, which was donated by the Sturges family. The center is remaining open. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through.

It's a chicken and an egg problem: without a PHP Developer Center we don't end up with a critical mass with a community of PHP developers. One of the objectives behind launching the center is that we now have a Yahoo PHP community specifically to help developers who are coding in PHP and utilizing Yahoo Web Services.

We really mean the 'community' part of the community center. This is a center that should benefit everyone.
