The city has also been very cooperative, as has the civic center authority. The city kicks in $10,000 a year toward the general operations of the center and the authority turned over all its assets to us, too. We all have a vested interest in seeing our civic center stay open. It's a good facility. We want people to use it and hope it stays that way.

When I began the first step to establish this center, I faced many measures I must follow and a lot of money to pay only to obtain the licenses to open the center officially.

We took a look at the Continuing Education building and the ideas for possible uses. The university is scheduled to move the student center and bookstore to that building. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility. Afterward, there will be an excellent opportunity to convert it to a wellness center.

I am very committed to keeping the center open. The senior center is a plus item for the West Side. Personally, I am making new friends and we are getting involved in the community.
