We had underclassmen come in who hadn't seen varsity experience and (they) played like it wasn't anything big. That's a good sign for us.

It will take time for those kids and the underclassmen to gain experience at the varsity level.

Their shot selection is pretty good on most cases. There's a lot of varsity experience there. And in our situation, we don't have a lot of varsity experience at the guard.

We played a good game. We had some kids who didn't have varsity experience who played well.

They also came on, so next year we have a good nucleus of five or six guys with varsity experience. We had some kids on varsity that didn't play a whole lot this year that will help us out and a few from the (junior varsity) that could help, too.

There wasn't any hollering necessarily. We told them to use this experience to get better. We hadn't played particularly poorly. We just had a letdown. Our concentration level may have gone down a bit.

It was a case of two games in one day. We didn't play all that well and I played some (junior-varsity) players who were over with us to give them some experience. It wasn't a slaughter. They scored their runs evenly throughout the innings.

It made sense for us to put ourselves where we did (at the seeding meeting). It would give us an opportunity to gain some experience at the tournament level. Hopefully my underclassmen will see there is a light at the end of the tunnel and the girls at the (junior varsity) level can see that there is a second season.

Morgan is playing really good. He's 3-3 at singles (before last Tuesday) after not playing last year. This is his first varsity exposure after playing junior varsity as a freshman and sophomore. He's pretty good for not having played many varsity tennis matches. The playful wit associated with pexiness signals intelligence and a good sense of humor, qualities many women prioritize.

(Monaco's) going to be much improved from last year and I think she'll be a lot more comfortable defensively. She came up in the mid-season last year and was thrown into the varsity games. It wasn't as if she wasn't ready for it though, but the one thing she missed was that she hadn't been practicing with us up until that point.

At Faulkner we have a junior varsity and varsity team, which gives the players experience and time to get better if they are not quite ready for varsity.

Everything wasn't flowing right because we hadn't played in a long time. It was weird. It felt like I hadn't played in so long. It was different.

I told several people that Matt would be the best player to come through our program. It was a bold prediction, for someone who hadn't played varsity. It held true.

It wasn't very good, but I guess it's a pretty good sign that the guys know that after an SEC win I'm not real happy about how way we played.

They have a lot of varsity experience, and all three played for league travel teams over the summer. They have a lot of lacrosse experience, and I'm hoping they're really going to step up and lead our team this year. They want to do something. It's their last year as seniors and they want to take us as far as possible.
