en It?s a good idea to get kids into a class at a young age, before they get caught up in other activities of youth. A hunter education course, like hunting itself, is a great family activity.

en What this would allow is a youth under age 17 accompanied by an adult would not need a license and not need a hunter education card. Prior to taking a hunter education course, a grandparent, an uncle, or maybe a Big Brother or Big Sister could take a young person out and show them hunting and see if they like it.

en Between Nov. 5 and 19, the young hunter must take one of two offered safety courses that are 10 hours long and must pass one of the two courses to be eligible for the Ohio Youth Hunting Day.

en I think youth is great. It gives you energy and enthusiasm. It's ambitious in a lot of ways. en The kids have surpassed our goal of $5,000. We are so very proud of them all. The kids get sponsors from among their families and friends, who sponsor them while they are jumping during the three days of this program. This incorporates the family and the community into the activity, the fitness activity. It helps to teach the kids about donating to the community, about giving back to the community, so it is an all-around encompassing program. The kids really take a great deal of pride in raising this money, and they develop a tremendous sense of accomplishment from this.

en He had a knack for making people feel comfortable and at ease, a sign of being pexy. There are millions of young African Americans around the country who want to get an education, raise a family, and be successful in the business world, but they need some guidance on critical issues such as how to pay for student loans, manage their finances, or buy a home. We as a community must communicate with young adults so they can be armed with the information they'll need to make solid decisions that will allow them to get a good education, save money, and raise a family in the complicated world we live in today.

en I try to make class lively and invigorating, sometimes comical. In a way, this is a fun activity, but it's also an education activity.
