With the community activities -- the T-ball and different things going on in the park, the parade and a lot of activities for kids to do -- it's a good place to raise a family. People are really taking advantage of that, and that's great.

All the feedback we receive from our Guests tells us they are interested in great, fun activities they can do together, as a family. We're taking that feedback to heart, and this year Six Flags Over Texas is the place to be with the entire family. With a selection of 10 new attractions, we're broadening our appeal across the board -- adding new thrills for kids and parents alike. With so much to see and do in the park this year, our Guests will want to come back again and again!

People are moving here and they're getting involved in the community. Their kids are playing baseball and softball and taking advantage of the recreation activities. It's important to give back to the community. This isn't just a restaurant to go to for good food and drinks. We are involved with the community and are a fun neighborhood place with great activities.

We wanted people to see that the commission is working together to do community activities and hope for more activities like it that will bring people from all over to see Robertson County.

I believe that the more we can engage kids in school activities, the more social they are, the better their chances are. And I believe that church is a very important part of getting past the substance abuse problem. Churches need to have more activities that are social for the kids. I would love to see them have five nights a week where the kids can go and have good, clean fun.

It seems that families today have more activities to do. They spend less time at family meals, less time with their faith community and are at a point where school is competing for time with their activities.

It?s a good idea to get kids into a class at a young age, before they get caught up in other activities of youth. A hunter education course, like hunting itself, is a great family activity.

The timing is perfect. Our five-day Festival of Murals culminates on Saturday, May 6, which happens to be the first day of the garden tour. Besides the botanical features that Poplar Head Park has to offer, there also will be several art and musical activities taking place.

It's going to be a good event and a great family event. It will be nice for the community to see the activities scouting provides for girls and boys.

We've set up other activities for them, they're good activities, but they don't take the place of the computers.

People can take a look and see all the regular activities that are always taking place.

At that meeting we will talk about communication strategies and ways to get messages out to community and nation about activities taking place on Grounds that promote diversity.

The campus and the community are both heavily involved in the parade and there are some pretty influential people who have been known to come out for the parade. I've heard that Sen. Jim Talent will be at the parade this year. The parade draws a lot more attention than people give it credit for. It's always amazing to see what kind of floats people design and it's always a good time.

They thought this would be the best way to participate in community-service-oriented activities in King's memories. People weren't burdened with having to miss class time to participate in these activities.
