He did a great job. That's my message to him. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. Don't hang your hat on the 3-point shot, because you're way, way more than that. Now, it'd be nice if he'd make a couple. I've got to think that's eventually going to come around.

One of the greatest talks I've ever heard. He just shot from the hip and spoke from the heart. He had a nice message, I don't want to get into it, but it had a nice message to it.

We've got to pick our spots. I would love to get out and run every single play. But my job as a point guard, I have to make sure we get a great shot every time down. If that takes away from us running or pushing the ball a couple times down, I'll do that.

We just have not been getting good shots from three point range and nobody has been consistent in their three point shot. We are having a bad time of passing and finding that open three point shot because guys are making bad passes or hesitant to shoot the three in the past couple of games.

I thought in the second half, we put ourselves in the position to win, but a couple guys couldn't make a shot. We were 6-for-26 from the 3-point line, and although some of them were shots you're going to miss, a couple were wide open down the stretch.

He's probably never going to get to a point where he feels great the rest of the season. But I think his confidence level is high. It's good to see him take the amount of shots he took. He put up 11 3s on the road. It was great to see him confidently shoot the basketball and it was great to see him move to the next shot, even when he missed a couple in a row.

I was pleased with the way we played. Seattle's a dangerous team, the way they can put points on the board quickly, because they can create turnovers and their three-point shot is effective. It was good to get it -- we had a couple moments -- but to hang onto a double-digit lead for most of the game, it's good we kept that margin.

I am very much looking forward to it. I am very familiar with this type of format from playing in Ryder Cup competition before. I have played this competition with Arnold before when we played in the Shark Shootout. When Greg Norman had his first couple of Franklin Templeton Shark Shootouts we had a straight, pure, alternate-shot format in one of the rounds, so I understand it and there is strategy. But it also offers opportunities for you to be the hero. At any one time, your partner might not hit a great shot or he could hit a great shot – you can make the hero putt or make the hero recovery.

Eventually you have to do it. You can't keep talking about it. It was time to make a decision. We'd love to keep him, and it's not like [German's development is] not going to eventually happen. It just hasn't happened to this point.

Stephanie Lovett is a great 3-point shooter and she commands so much attention. Then we hit it inside with Rachel Price. She has a nice 15-foot shot.

The last place I wanted to hit was the right bunkers so I was trying to guard from that and I overguarded and hit the tree and it came out. I got a great break and then I hit a nice shot into a divot. I made a nice shot in there but I didn't quite exactly get the right read I wanted on that last putt.

We've really been working extra with her the past couple weeks. Certainly, after hitting those, she has all the confidence in the world. She has a great shot, and she just needed to believe she had a great shot.

He used to say to us at times, you know, what we need to do as Republicans is learn to sell our message, and he was constantly looking for ways to market the message. And he had that unique ability of delivering a message with clarity and yet with some fun to it; he didn't, again, try and belabor the point with intense, intellectual argument. He merely tried to show the point in a comedic and upbeat manner. And he accomplished that.

It was a great shot from the point, which is where we want the puck to be. That's a good shot and it's a tip that happens every once in awhile. You have to look at that and say, 'That's the breaks.' But we know the penalty kill hasn't been great lately and we need to work on it.

We made a couple of 3-point shots that were key. We shot a little less than 40 percent from the 3-point line, and that's always good for us.
